Working in close collaboration with Air Seychelles and Les Canelles Nurseries (c.v. Kot Man-Ya), TESS held a two day event on Friday 11^th and Saturday 12^th February 2011.

Over 50 varieties of Exotic Tropicals (plants) on offer at 50% discount were displayed in the foyer of Orion Mall, facing the booth of the Creole Spirit – promoting and selling its special fares for travels to regional destinations.

The event took place on the eve of Valentine’s Day. Much interest and curiosity were generated in the Art of Horticulture – our Local Culture.

To commemorate the International Children’s Day, on 1st June 2010, Kot Man-Ya had the pleasure of hosting a group of the less fortunate children of different ages from “Le Foyer de la Providence”.

The children accompanied by their guardians were first taken on a conducted tour of the Garden, where they discovered for the first time the marvel of countless varieties of exotic flowering plants in full bloom, in their natural environment.

They also had the chance to make contacts and admire the residents comprised of giant land tortoises, guinea pigs, goats, rabbits, chickens, skinks, frogs and birds all living in harmony, with the plants, in this man-made sanctuary.

Our honoured guest subsequently enjoyed on refreshments and snacks under the cool veranda of the old traditional home, the center-piece of the garden.
